      1-Year Replacement Warranty

      BrightNest Home Goods warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the purchase date, under normal household use. At our discretion, we will replace any defective product with an equivalent item or functionally comparable model.

      • Coverage: manufacturing defects affecting function or safety when used as intended.
      • Proof of purchase required: order number or dated receipt.
      • Original purchaser only; non-transferable.

      Exclusions

      • Normal wear and tear (e.g., light surface scratches, cosmetic blemishes over time).
      • Damage from misuse, overheating, dry-boiling, accidental drops, or improper storage.
      • Discoloration or warping from sustained high heat beyond care guidelines.
      • Damage from abrasive cleaners, metal utensils on nonstick, or dishwasher chemicals where hand-wash is advised.
      • Commercial use or modification of the product.
      • Lost or missing parts after delivery (unless reported within 7 days of receipt).

      How to Make a Warranty Claim

      1. Email support@brightnesthomegoods.com with:
        • Your name and order number (or receipt).
        • Product name/SKU and a brief description of the issue.
        • Photos or a short video showing the defect and the whole item.
      2. Our team will review for eligibility and may offer troubleshooting tips.
      3. If approved, we’ll provide next steps and ship a replacement or appropriate remedy. In some cases, we may request the item be returned for evaluation (a prepaid label will be provided for approved claims).

      For items damaged in transit on arrival, please see Shipping & Delivery and contact us within 7 days of delivery.

      Remedy

      • Primary remedy is replacement of the affected product.
      • If the product is unavailable, we may offer a functionally comparable model or store credit.

      Limitations

      To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrightNest Home Goods is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental damages; these limits may not apply to you.

      Product Care Guidelines

      Proper care ensures long-term performance and keeps your warranty in good standing.

      Nonstick Cookware

      • Hand wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge; avoid abrasive pads or powders.
      • Use wooden, silicone, or nylon utensils; avoid metal tools.
      • Cook on low–medium heat; avoid empty-pan preheating on high.
      • Allow pan to cool before washing to protect coatings.
      • Light oil or butter is fine; avoid aerosol cooking sprays that can build residue.

      Stainless Steel

      • Preheat on low–medium; add oil, then food at proper temperature to reduce sticking.
      • For rainbow tints, use a vinegar-water rinse; for stuck-on bits, simmer water with a drop of soap.
      • Avoid salt pitting: add salt only after water boils or when food is in the pan.

      Cast Iron / Enameled

      • Season raw cast iron as needed; keep lightly oiled when stored.
      • For enameled, avoid metal utensils and extreme thermal shock (e.g., cold water on hot pot).
      • Dry thoroughly after washing to prevent rust on raw cast iron.

      Glass / Ceramic / Bakeware

      • Avoid sudden temperature swings; always preheat the oven.
      • Use non-abrasive cleaners; allow to cool before washing.
      • Check max temperature guidance on the product page or packaging.

      Utensils & Tools

      • Hand wash wooden handles; do not soak for extended periods.
      • Keep blades dry after washing to prevent corrosion (where applicable).

      Dishwasher & Heat

      • Unless the product page specifies “dishwasher safe,” prefer hand wash to prolong life.
      • High-alkaline dishwasher detergents can dull finishes or affect nonstick coatings.
      • Use medium heat for everyday cooking; high heat is rarely necessary.
